On Your Lot Custom Homes
Over 25 years ago, we saw a large market for custom homes on someone elses property. We started to build homes for buyers who owned their own property or just purchased the proprety of their dreams. We saw that these projects became very customized to the homeowner's lifestyle's and property. Today, every one of our "On Your Lot" home we build are custom to the buyers needs and style of living. Our On Your Lot division has grown to become and intergral part of our business today.

Remodeling and Additions
As people's lives continue to change, we see a large amount of people who are happy where they are but they want to upgrade what they have. Those sentiments are what got us into Remodeling and Additions. This has become a major portion of our business, mainly after the last few years of a weakened housing market. As it became harder for people to sell their homes, they decided they would try and upgrade what they are currently in. As more and more people found out that we did Remodeling, the projects came pouring in. The most exciting thing to see was how many of our past homebuyers were looking to upgrade their Michaels Group home. It was great to hear that people still loved the location and design of their home, they were just looking to install the newest trends in flooring, cabinets, countertops and more in their home. The fact that they came back to us as repeat customers tells us we did a great job for them the first time around and they are happy homeowners.
Design Services
The Michaels Group recently created a new department within our company and that is for Design Services. We have seen the need for many customers as well as local home builders have the need for design services. Currently The Michaels Group is designing many new homes and/or remodeling projects for area home builders and customers who have their dream homes in mind. Our extensive knowledge of design and construction management has allowed us to reach out to new customers in even more ways than just as a builder and developer. Starting out with a blank sheet of paper and creating the drawings for a customers dream home is one of the most enjoyable parts of our business.
