Dear Michaels Family, We are so very proud to be an owner of a Michaels home. We have come full circle. My parents built a home in Colonial Acres in Glenmont many years ago and would never dream of leaving. Now their daughter and husband are owners of a Michaels Home too! The whole process was very enjoyable and worry free. The attention to detail, service, and greatest of all, their honesty are very refreshing. Mr. Willson, I wanted to take the time to tell you what I believe you already know...that your team at Sheldon Hills is quite commendable. My association with Sheldon Hills began with Rose Quade and ultimately led to Tom Tallman, Laurie Michaels, Joe Dolan, Luke Michaels, Karen Bristol, Elaine Angelo, Deb Roy, and now Heidi Harkins. To a person, every single one of them has dealt with me as though I was their only client, that I was part of the Michaels Group family...they always presented as though their only goal was to help me build, and now maintain, the home of my dreams. Rose was incredible...she never took a hard sell role, probably knowing that the homes and development would sell themselves. She walked me through the purchase, coordinated my work with Laurie and Tom, sat patiently through the pre-construction meeting with Joe, and continued to touch base with me as I approached the final walk through and closing. Her attention to detail was impressive and her attentiveness to me was unmatched. Tom spent a considerable amount of time with my brother-in-law and me studying angles, views, and positions for my home. Like Rose, Tom's mannerisms always appeared to put any question or request of mine as a priority. These two people, in my estimation, form the foundation of the Michaels Group. Laurie spent considerable hours helping me to make selections that were not only beautiful but also remained within my budget...not an easy feat! Joe allowed me to deviate from the design of the master bath. His words seemed to be to emulate the Michaels Group culture..."We want you to be happy with your home." I met Luke at the final walk through. Once again his approach was one of "all the time in the world" to do whatever he needed to do to ensure that I was set for the closing. Karen was very helpful in my preparation for the closing. I enjoyed her sense of humor. Luke's follow-through, with the assistance of Elaine, has been stellar. Elaine has been instrumental in preparing for the 30-day visit. True to nature, once again she treated me as though I was her only client and any concerns of mine were hers. The communications and help I have received from Deb Roy and Heidi Harkins have been a wonderful comfort. I am now a homeowner, the checks have all been exchanged and the Michaels Group delivered its product as promised...however the attention, responsiveness, and treatment I continue to receive is no different than when I was a potential buyer. I am awed by the group of people that I have come into contact with from the Michaels Group. Whatever it is that your company has honed...recruitment and selection, orientation, empowerment, incentives, all of those and perhaps more...is overwhelmingly successful. Please let Art M. know that we appreciate his stopping by this week when we weren't home and replacing the piece of siding in the front entry way that was cracked. The few times we have had a problem with our house your service department has promptly taken care of it and been very pleasant to deal with.

I am sure you get your share of complaints, so I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you that you have a gem as a service coordinator. We have had a few occasions to utilize Art (Caswell). He is always there when he says he will be. In addition, he is friendly, extremely competent and never complains about the job facing him. We bought a Michaels Group home because of the reputation and history. Candi had lived in a Michaels home in Colonie while growing up and later lived in a Michaels Group home in Bethlehem. This is her third Michaels home that she has lived in. We also like how some of The Michaels Group communities have held their value and sense of order, perhaps as a result of the HOA. Finally we were attracted because no identical homes were placed next to each other thereby avoiding a 'cookie-cutter' development. In closing, we would recommend a Michaels Group home to anyone in the market for a new home as we are very comfortable in our home and would build with The Michaels Group again.

To The Michaels Group Team, My wife and I would like to extend a personal Thank You to Art Caswell for doing such fine work on our punch list and additional alterations. Mr. Caswell is very courteous and professional, and gets the job done right in a timely manner. He arrived at my house today exactly at 8:00 to perform some work on our laundry room doors and had the job completed much to our satisfaction. In addition to his great work ethic and quality, Art portrays a most welcome and customer service oriented attitude towards his customers, (something that I feel carries a lot of weight in today's society). My children practically tackle Art when he comes over, and my daughter always asks when he is coming back. She makes it a point to draw him a picture to take home with after each visit.
