The Michaels Group is dedicated to giving back to the community. Locally our charity of choice is the St. Peter's ALS Center. In 1992, our founder James Michaels passed away from ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Since that time, The Michaels Group has been heavily invovled in fundraiser and supporting the St. Peter's ALS Center. At the Center, ALS patients are welcomed with open arms, and with the help of the Center, the patients will live a more comfortable life with ALS. While sufferiing from ALS, the St. Peter's ALS Center was there for Jim Michaels, and helped him and our family during that difficult time.
This June 27th will mark our 22nd Annual ALS Memorial Open Golf Tournament. The Tournament is in memory of James Michaels and John C. Daly. Over the past few years, the tournament has been one of the most succesful tournaments in the Capital Region and has raised over $100k on multiple occassions.
